Lake Avenue Farm is private property consisting of 17 acres of ornamental plantings, vegetable gardens, greenhouses, orchards, woodland gardens, 2 pools, a Koi pond & many water features. Hours: Flexible; Mondays & Fridays, some weekend work possible for the right person. Experience: Basic mechanical skills & good common sense. Some gardening experience helpful. Compensation:  15-16 /hr to start. Increases depending upon abilities.
 
We are looking for a self motivated individual, who is willing to be in a position of maintenance, caring for a Koi pond, 2 pools, a grotto with a stream, 3 fountains and a man made waterfall. The Environmental Educator (EE)/Harvest Manager (HM) will be an energetic, well-organized environmentalist with experience in farming and education who will provide a variety of educational opportunities, at the farm and off-site when appropriate.

The EE/HM will manage all aspects of the weekly CSA share distribution and assist the farmer in the overall operation of the farm. The EE/HM will develop programs that provide hands-on experiences for children, youth and adults, including people with special needs.
