Organic Poison Ivy Worker Needed
The Gloved Hand is looking for help. The primary method used by The Gloved Hand is to dig out the root system of the entire poison ivy plant with a spade, for compete eradication. Initial training on protection protocol provided free, to work harmlessly with urushiol using no herbicides. Average 1 day/week through mid-September; work in September through December is expected to increase.  As a subcontractor to The Gloved Hand you are free to choose what days you are available for work. Crew Member Needed at Holcomb Farm
30-acre non-certified Organic Farm in West Granby, CT is looking for one more farmer to join us for the 2015 season.  Crew members are involved in all aspects of production and distribution at the farm, which includes a 350 member Summer CSA, 70 member Winter CSA, farm store, wholesale accounts and a non-profit mission to provide food for communities in need.
